Thoughts on Atlantic Heart

Atlantic Heart makes her third racecourse appearance this afternoon (Saturday 6th November) at Chelmsford in the 4.00. Luke Morris rides in the seven furlong novice. Atlantic Heart made a promising debut over six furlongs staying on nicely towards the end. She was probably forced to do a bit too much from a wide draw in the early part of the race last time out and should take a step forward here from a better stall.

Doolilly probably just sets the standard in terms of form but her wide draw does open up opportunities for others. Previous winner Silver Kitten has a great draw and has pretty consistent form and is the biggest danger. Scotch Mistress ran well on both her starts and a small step up would probably be good enough.

Atlantic Heart is owned by Patrick O’Connor, she will be led up this afternoon by Sammy Barnett who cares for her at home. Michael Coles is her regular rider at home.

We currently have some exciting new syndicates, including in some sharp looking filles. The Diskovery Partnership will race a daughter of first season sire sensation Time Test. Find out more about her.
