Thoughts on Bailiwick at Chelmsford

Bailiwick runs in the 7.40 at Chelmsford tomorrow evening (Thursday, 27th November). The excellent Adam Kirby rides in the mile handicap. Following a long lay off since his maiden win Bailiwick has been stepping forward with each run in handicaps and perhaps was a bit unlucky not to be a bit closer the way his last two races have panned out. He has looked as if the extra furlong would suit him. The only real negative appears to be the draw, which does make a difference at the track with a bias towards the lower numbers.

The main danger appears to be Supersta who won more easily than the head margin would suggest on his last start and looked suited by the step up in trip that day.
