Thought’s on Bowland Park
Bowland Park runs in the 1.50 at Haydock Park. Jack Mitchell rides in the one mile handicap as the gelding bids to follow up his recent Epsom win. A horse who has always shown a lot of potential at home he lost his way a little at the beginning of the season, but gelding him and a bit of space has transformed him. He won on good to soft last time out and hopefully the softer going today will not be a problem.

The race today looks fairly open with fellow last time out winner Cosmos Raj probably probably posing the biggest threat. North of Amazing has tackled deeper races for most of the season and will handle the ground conditions and could be another danger.
Bowland Park is owned by his breeders Gary & Lesley Middlebrook. He will be led up today by Michael Coles who cares for him at home and overseen by Alice Roberts.
