Thoughts on Ciara Pearl

We send out one runner today (Wednesday 26th July). Ciara Pearl is making her racecourse debut in the 2.30pm Fillies Maiden at Bath with Cieren Fallon taking the ride.

Ciara Pearl is a half sister to Zulu Girl who won four races for the yard. It’s very much a family that comes into their own as older horses, so we have taken our time with her. She shows ability at home but is likely to learn plenty for her first run. Physically she will continue to strengthen. This looks a nice oppertunity to begin her career with just four rivals.

Rose Bolt has by far the best form and sets the standard to aim at for the others.

Ciara Pearl runs for owner Andrew Stonehill and will be led up by Ilse Belien who cares for her daily at home.
