Thoughts on City Cyclone

City Cyclone lines up for the first time in 2023 today (Tuesday 18th April) at Lingfield at 4.20pm, Richard Kingscote will be on board.

The striking gelding is the physical type one would expect to improve as a three year old. He improved with each start as a two year old and has wintered well. The step up in distance should be in his favour here and he has done a good amount of work at home.

City Cyclone

A small field for this novice with little between City Cyclone & Lordship based on their meeting at Yarmouth as two year olds. Butterfly effect has a recent run under her belt and a bit more experience than the the two geldings, ratings wise she’s close to them too and gets a bit of weight. Huda Star is an interesting newcomer by a good stallion.

City Cyclone runs for owners Wayne Clifford and Ian Gosden and will be led up by Tamsin Karn who cares for and rides him daily at home.
