Thoughts on Diamante

Diamante makes her racecourse debut at Newmarket this afternoon in the 2.00. Tom Queally rides the filly in the seven furlong maiden. A good looking athletic filly that we absolutely adored at the sales she is by Big Bad Bob from the family of Hawk Wing. Her mother stayed as far as a mile and a half and she should make into a nice mile and a quarter type of filly next season as she strengthens over the winter. We have been pleased with her work at home, whether she quite has the strength about her yet to be up to winning remains to be seen. There is still a leg for sale in her – get in touch to come racing this afternoon!

A race where the newcomers look more interesting than those that have already run its a bit of a guessing game as to what might be the main dangers and its perhaps a race to watch a few times to find future winners out of rather than guess at today’s winner.
