Thoughts on Disapproval at Brighton
Disapproval makes her debut in the 2.20 at Brighton this afternoon. George Downing rides the two year old filly in the six furlong maiden. Disapproval is the first foal of Disko who was our very first two year old winner and was also 4th in a listed race. Disapproval is by Approve and has all the makings of a fun two year old. After the promise shown by our first two year old last night we are looking forward to seeing how she runs. She hasn’t done quite the same amount of work as that filly but probably has a bit more speed. It’s not the easiest of tracks for a debutant but she is a well balanced filly so hopefully she should take to it.
Arabian Jazz sets the standard of those that have run but it’s not a insurmountable one and a debutant or something taking a big step forward could well have enough ability to give her a run for her money.
