Thoughts on Don’t Tell Claire

Don’t Tell Claire returns to action in the 6.15 at Chelmsford today. Jason Watson rides in the 6 furlong novice race. She was slow away on debut and a bit green during the race. She has developed nicely over the winter and shown ability at home. We have worked a lot on the stalls with her at home but she still hasn’t consistently cracked getting away well. If she gets the break right she should run a nice race. Our runners so far have just looked to need the race.

Portuguese Princess sets the standard with Cry Havoc (winner of Don’t Tell Claire’s debut) not far behind. Villain’s Voice showed promise on debut nearly a year ago and hasn’t been seen since. As with many of the three year old races featuring lightly raced horse any one of them is open to significant improvement due to physical and mental development.

Don’t Tell Claire will be led you by James Pulley and overseen by Shaun Johnson today she is regularly ridden by Elosie Chapman. She runs for Andrew and Claire Stonehill and was purchased as yearling at Goffs by Daniel and Claire. Learn more about our bloodstock services.
