Thoughts on Ellen Clacy
Ellen Clacy makes her debut this afternoon in the 1.15 at Salisbury. Callum Shepherd is on board the two year old filly for the seven furlong maiden fillies’ stakes. They are drawn in stall 6. Whatever Ellen Clacy does today she will improve on. She’s shown ability at home, but also takes a bit of time to get the hang of things.
Mistrix steps up in distance and looks as if she could get her nose in front for her second start. Silverdale ran in what is normally a hot race and is likely to be the biggest danger in a field where not many runners have experience.
Ellen Clacy is by Havana Gold, out of the Sleeping Indian mare, Melbourne Memories. She races for the Diskovery Partnership and will be led up by Sammy Barnett, who cares the filly at home. There is 10% available in the filly so get in touch for details if you’d like to join the partnership.
Ellen Clacy was picked up at Goffs Doncaster yearling sale for £12,000. With this sale just around the corner, why not get in contact to find out more information about how you could get involved?
