Thoughts on Eminent Angel
Eminent Angel heads to Wolverhampton today (Saturday 9th April) where she makes her second appearance on the track in the 6.00. Liam Keniry is aboard for the seven furlong novice race. Eminent Angel should take a step forward from her debut. A light framed filly who will improve as she strengthens over the coming months she will also benefit from further in due course.
The race looks to be between Another Romance and Lucia Joy. The former showed clear ability on debut last summer but was not the most straight forward ride, she reappears with a hood and tongue tie after a lengthy absence. Lucia Joy wouldn’t necessarily benefit from the drop in trip but has done nothing wrong in her two starts over a mile in recent weeks and looks a solid type in this race.
Eminent Angel runs in the colours of owner and breeders Mr & Mrs G Middlebrook. She will be led up by Sammy Barnett who cares for her at home and overseen by Tamsin Karn.
