Thoughts on Fiscal Policy – Monday

Fiscal Policy runs today in the 17:00 at Pontefract. Richard Kingscote will be aboard for the six furlong handicap.

Fiscal Policy has been in good form this season, with a win and two runners up spots to his name. He could have been even better had he not hung left in a couple of races. This track should suit him. There is big field but stall five is a decent enough draw that granted a bit of luck he should be competitive.

Corinithia Knight looks the obvious starting point, the veteran sprinter has a great record over course and distance and whilst he might not be quite the force of old he warrants plenty of respect at this level. He also has the plumb draw. Other of the more likely challengers, Atlantic Heart and Gannon Glory have to overcome the worst of the draw.

Fiscal Policy is owned and was bred by Gary and Lesley Middlebrook. The gelding will be led up by Epona Miller who cares for him at home.
