Thoughts on Forest Demon – Tuesday
Forest Demon is our first runner of the week today (Tuesday 8th August). He heads to Chelmsford where he will line up in the 8.50pm handicap under Jack Mitchell.
Forest Demon ran a good race to be second last time out on his first start over ten furlongs. Perhaps more significantly he also wore cheek pieces for the first time. They are retained today. He has a middle draw which is ok, but obviously slightly lower would be preferable.

Forest Demon
A fairly open looking race, where a case could be made for several. Wadacre Gomez drops in class following a solid third over course and distance. The first time cheekpieces wouldn’t have to bring about huge improvement to give Mudskipper a good shout. Yeoman has been progressing and although more is required here, that wouldn’t be unexpected. Born Ruler who has been gelded is another that can improve further, especially upped in trip.
The gelding runs in the colours of syndicate owners Capture The Moment IX and will be led up by James Pulley who cares for him at home.
