Thoughts on Forest Demon

Forest Demon is our sole runner of the day (Friday, July 15th). He lines up at our most local track Newbury at 1.00pm under Richard Kingscote.

Forest Demon was green on his racecourse debut, but did start to get the hang of things as the race went on. He should take a step forward here as a result of that experience and continued development at home.

The challenge Forest Demon faces is that on paper this race looks strong, there are some well bred newcomers, some of whom cost plenty at the yearling sales. Lenormand and Classic are noteworthy on this front. Bresson has shown the most ability on his two starts to date. Whilst Tarjeeh showed plenty of ability and looked like an obvious improver for the experience of his first run.

Forest Demon runs for owners Capture The Moment IX and he will be led up by Natalie Jankiewicz. He is cared for at home by James Pulley.
