Thoughts on Freesia Gold

Freesia Gold runs at Chelmsford this evening (30th April) at 8.30. Kieran O’Neill rides the filly in the mile classified stakes. She takes a small drop in grade which should help her but must overcome a wide draw in stall 10 in a big field.

The race is quite open with a fair few in the field with placed efforts in similar contests of late. Nicky Baby beat home Imperial Act and Casey Banter over course and distance in a similar contest last time out. The draw favours Casey Banter the most this evening and is of no help to Nicky Baby. Ainne has recent winner but is arguably better over seven and is posted widest of all tonight.

Freesia Gold will be led up James Pulley and overseen by Travelling Manager Shaun Johnson, Jennifer Hughes does most of her ridden work at home.
