Thoughts on Fronsac
Fronsac runs in the 5.50 at Pontefract today (Monday 8th of October). Robert Winston rides the 3 year old colt in the one mile maiden. Fronsac has a decent level of ability but has become unsettled on his visits to the racecourse, hopefully we are heading the right way with each run and he can take another step forward here today after a solid third placed effort last time out at Chelmsford, the second who beat him a nose has subsequently won to give hte form a solid look. The soft, good to soft going ought not to be a problem for Fronsac on pedigree but he is good actioned horse so there would be a slight concern on that front and the drier the ground becomes, throughout what looks a nice day, the better for him.
Harbour Creek who finished a couple of lengths behind Fronsac last time out on what was his debut looks the biggest danger of those with form as he should improve from that effort and wasn’t given a hard time that day. Matterhorn is well bred and has a top class jockey on board and looks the biggest danger of the debutants.
We have a couple of exciting ownership opportunities at present including a half share in Outrage, a five time winner who went very close on his most recent start and is well handicapped at present and has entries this week. Get in touch to get some instant action by emailing daniel@kublerracing.com
