Thoughts on Hat-Trick seeking Outrage

Outrage bids for his third successive win in the 1.20 at Newcastle this afternoon (30th of December). George Downing is back on board for the six furlong handicap following the combination’s success at the track earlier this month over five. This a tougher race and Outrage will have to prove as effective over six furlongs as he has been at five, all five of his career wins to date at the distance. The trip ought not a problem and it is probably a matter of getting the tactics right, we’ve never got things to go right over the trip. 

The race is competitive, top rated Amazour has a course and distance win to his name in a better grade and has been consistent in that grade recently and sets the standard. Captain Dion is a potential improver, whilst on an on song Poyle Vinnie rates a danger. King Robert is lightly raced this year and looked a good prospect as a two year old and is another that may show more.
