Thoughts on Helm Rock

Helm Rock runs this afternoon in the 5.15 at Sandown Park. James Doyle takes the ride for the mile and a quarter handicap as the gelding bids for a hat trick following his victories at Carlisle last month. He also steps up in distance. The pair are drawn in stall 7.

A competitive race. Wink Of An Eye also seeks a hat trick and looks like he will be the one to beat with his wins being on both fast and slow ground over this distance. On his most recent win he hand Something Enticing in just behind as well as Pure Bubbles further back, but its the latter who might take the step forward. Forever Forward is another who should be involved and Mustazeed is on the improve.

Helm Rock is owned by Capture The Moment. He is by Pivotal, out of the Invincible Spirit mare, Nibbling. He will be led up by groom James Pulley, and overseen by travelling manager, Shaun Johnson.
