Thoughts on Hydraulic

Hydraulic runs in the 9.00pm at Wolverhampton this evening. Adam McNamara is on board the gelding for the 12 furlong maiden. He is drawn in stall 4. Hydraulic looked one paced over ten at Newbury on his debut in what looked a reasonable race. The extra distance should suit, but he will likely need even further in time.

Labeebb showed enough on debut with improvement looking likely for that experience that he is probably the horse to beat here. The extra furlong should be a positive too based on that performance. Frankenstella is bred to be smart and she could improve significantly on her first run as a three year old, having just had the one run last year. Arabian Warrior showed a bit on his debut on the all weather and can perhaps be forgiven a lessor effort on softer going next time.

Hydraulic is by Golden Horn, out of Norse Dancer mare, Dorcas Lane. He will be led up by James Pulley and overseen by travelling manager Shaun Johnson.
