Thoughts on Involved
Involved makes his racecourse debut this evening in the 6:15 at Wolverhampton (Wednesday February 14th). George Downing rides in the seven furlong maiden. A well bred colt he is a half brother to four winners to four runners out of a group 3 winning dam and with a bit of luck should keep his talented mothers perfect record intact going by the work he has done at home. He is bred to want a little further than seven furlongs and this is his first day out so there should be a good bit of improvement from today whatever the result.
Breaking Records ran a very good race in the circumstances last time out and with a more ordinary passage through the race expected looks to set the standard in this contest. The free going Flora Tristan is the next best of those with experience. Where’s Mummy was a filly that caught the eye at the breeze up sales and is an interesting one to note on debut.
