Thoughts on L’enclume

L’enclume lines up in the 8.30pm at Wolverhampton this evening with David Egan taking the ride.

The filly won her novice nicely at the start of the season but hasn’t quite gone as hoped since then. She should appreciate the extra distance she races over today, having had a little freshen up ahead of this race.

L’enclume

Allemande looks an obvious improver switching to handicap company and stepping up in distance. World Without Love is still a maiden but has form over both two miles and a mile and half so should have no issues at this trip which she tries for the first time. Eagle Court, The Dancing Poet and Golden Keeper are all consistent at this sort of level over this trip and have all weather form. They set the standard for those having their first crack at the distance to aim at.

L’enclume runs in the colours of owner and breeders Gary & Lesley Middlebrook and will be led up by James Pulley who cares for her daily at home.
