Thoughts on Lil Guff – Friday

Just the one runner Friday, in the 2.05pm at Sandown. Lil Guff makes a quick return to the track having won on her latest start at Bath this time last week. William Buick takes the ride on her today.

The filly looks to have come out of that race well. This race has been in our plans for a while and the stiff five here at Sandown looks ideal. She’s got a nice draw in stall 4.

Lil Guff

This looks quite open. Lipsink and Coup De Force are closely matched on previous meetings and look the main dangers. What’s in the Bag is lightly raced compared to most of these and did finish second ahead of Lil Guff in third when they met recently at Windsor, however things didn’t pan out very well for Lil Guff that night. She proved that by turning the table on the winner that day Glamorous Breeze next time out at Bath.

Lil Guff runs in the colours of owner breeder Wayne Clifford and will be accompanied as always by Epona Miller who rides and cares for her daily at home.
