Thoughts on Lisa’s Legacy tomorrow evening.

Lisa’s Legacy returns to action in 9.20 at Kempton Park tomorrow (July 10th). Mickael Barzalona takes the ride in the mile handicap for three year olds and up. This is the first time that Lisa’s Legacy runs against older horses and as one of only two three year olds in the race gets a useful weight allowance. There was a lot to like about his first run for the yard as he met plenty of trouble in running and finished strongly to land fourth in a slowly run race coming from off the pace. He’ll need luck as he is drawn thirteen of fourteen which certainly makes life interesting. Being just ten days since his first run back after a long absence there is always a slight concern but he seems very well in himself and has just ticked over in between races. He came out of that race particularly well and we hope has improved slightly for it.

Two Minds look the horse to beat after defying a lengthy absence on his return to the racecourse when winning over course and distance, with his trainer confident there would be improvement from the run. This is a very slightly higher grade for him as it is for Wyndham Wave who also won over course and distance fitted in a hood two starts back. Baltic Blade is making his handicap debut and steps up in distance with the not inconsiderable assistance of Ryan Moore in the saddle and could be a danger at this level.
