Thoughts on Lovers’ Gait

Lovers’ Gait heads to Bath this evening for the 7.35 race. Liam Keniry is in the irons for the ten furlong handicap. The pair are drawn in stall 1. Lovers’ Gait is making her debut for the yard and this is her first run in a handicap, we are still learning about but she has shown ability in her homework.

Lovers’ Gait together with regular rider, Billie Portwin

A fairly open race where several lightly raced horses can step forward and challenge Costello and Global Agreement who have placed efforts at this sort of level already over this trip. Chief amongst these is Anno Maximo who sports headgear for the first time.

Lovers’ Gait is owned by Simon Hope and Stephen Barrow. The filly is by Gleneagles, out of the Statue of Liberty mare, Liberally. Today she will be led up regular rider, Billie Portwin.
