Thoughts on Lovers’ Gait
Lovers’ Gait heads to Bath tonight for the 5.10. Liam Keniry is back aboard the filly for the ten furlong handicap as they bid to repeat their recent course and distance win. The pair are drawn in stall 2. This represents a step up in class but a repeat of her recent victory should see he remaining very competitive.
A tight little contest despite there only being five runners. Rock of Fame has been beaten a short head and a head on her last to starts including over course and distance. Princess Way has more racing under her belt then the rest of the field and has a good record over course and distance at this level. Schmoozie is open to improvement returning from a break.
Lovers’ Gait is by Gleneagles, out of the Statue Of Liberty mare, Liberally. The filly races for Simon Hope and Stephen Barrow. She will be led up today by regular rider, Billie Portwin.
