Thoughts on Monkey Miss

Monkey Miss is our sole runner today, she makes the journey up to Chester to run in the 3.15pm under David Egan.

Monkey Miss wasn’t drawn well last time and probably ran a bit better than the bare result. Once again she’s had no luck and is stuck out in a wide draw here. She’s still learning her job and she can take another step forward here.

In terms of opposition Thanks Forever made a very good debut in a what is always a strong race and as long as the turning track isn’t an inconvenience he could be tough to beat. Winged Messenger and Ziggy’s Dream have both shown a solid level of form.

Monkey Miss runs in the colours of owner Wayne Clifford, she was bred by Sarah Clifford at Byerley Stud. She will be led up by Ilse Belien who cares for her daily at home.
