Thoughts on Moondial – Sunday
Moondial is our sole runner today, she lines up in the 2.15pm at Salisbury with Alex Jary taking the reins.
Moonidal has been consistent this season and the switch to turf should be of no concern. This is an apprentice riders race for jockeys who have ridden less than ten winners. Alex Jary is one of the most experienced riders in the race. These can be muddling races but Moondial is a straight forward genuine filly so ideally suited for this contest.
Moondial
Moondial looks to have by the far the most consistent of the form amongst her rivals. The more lightly raced horses such as handicap debutants Barley Brown and Desert Swirl are open to improvement at this likely more realistic level. Duisker will appreciate the return to a stiffer test. Giddy Aunt drops to a lower grade and steps up in trip and is another to consider.
Moondial runs in the colours of owners Diskovery XPartnership. She will be led up by Tamsin Karn
