Thoughts on Multi Fours at Kempton tomorrow and other news
Multi Fours runs in the 6.30 at Kempton tomorrow evening (18th of October). A seven furlong auction maiden with Martin Dwyer riding. The filly was very green on her first start and had a couple of little niggles in between. She hopefully learned plenty that day and should give a better account of herself tomorrow. She has some ability but after being so green first time around the focus is that she jumps and that she gets involved in the race tomorrow.
On paper it looks like Birdlover will be very tough to beat if she repeats her performance in a sales race last time out. However with the field full of unraced and once raced maidens there may be a surprise – but they will have to be well above average to cause an upset.
Cobbs Quay is finally starting to get his act together on the racecourse and with a little more luck in running would have gone very close last Saturday at Wolverhampton. He will probably step up in trip again for his next start as he didn’t look to be slowing at the line.
