Thoughts on Mutineer

Mutineer goes in the 6.05 at Kempton this evening. With George Downing unavailable Adam Kirby steps in for the ride in the mile handicap. Mutineer has come forward in his last couple of races and was beaten just a neck last time out and takes a very slight drop in grade here from the same mark. He has a decent draw and all looks set for a decent effort on a track that he has run reasonably well at on two previous visits.

The race features several stalwarts who although they might not be stars know how to battle and are capable of winning races at this sort of level, Freddy With a Y, Barista and Misu Pete all fall into this category but it may be that Casado as a three year old that is more lightly raced and is showing improvement with each effort is the biggest danger from a decent draw.
