Thoughts on Outrage

Outrage runs today at Chelmsford at 6.45. Kieran O’Neill rides the gelding in the 5 furlong sprint. He was just stretched by the stiff six furlongs at Newcastle on Monday but ran very creditably. He is slightly better over five furlongs but the track configuration at Chelmsford always means he needs a bit of luck in running with his late burst. He has been unlucky more than once here.

Verne Castle has a good record at the track and sets the standard if back near his best after a little refresher. Saaheq looks to be coming forward with each run for his current trainer and won here last time out and is the other big threat.

Outrage will be led up by yard manager Lauren Webb who will be assisted by travelling manager Shaun Johnson. He races for Capture the Moment some of whom will be cheering him on together at Chelmsford this evening as Outrage seeks his ninth win. Its a small partnership and we spend a lot of time sharing analysis with its members and good days out at the yard and the races. They have enjoyed plenty of success on the track with the likes of stakes horses Il Paparazzi and Affileo. We currently have shares in an exciting sprinting prospect by speed sire Camacho available see here for more details.
