Thoughts on Outrage
Outrage lines up for the 5.30 at Newcastle this evening. Hollie Doyle is in the irons for the 5f handicap and they are drawn in stall 10. Outrage has a fantastic record over course and distance and has dropped to a grade that he can be very competitive. He has been particularly slow out the gates on his last couple of starts and blown his race as a result.
This looks competitive for the level with the veterans, Line of Reason, Duke of Firenze, Secretinthepark and Doc Sportello all warranting respect at this level. Of the less exposed horses Kind Review drops to five furlongs for the first time having won over as far as a mile, and comes here off the back of a six furlong win. Batchelor Boy is only three and his best run was on the all weather, he’s run in a couple of decent contests of late and might find this a bit easier.
Outrage is by Exceed and Excel, out of the Cadeaux Genereux mare, Ludynosa. He will be led up by Ilse Belien. Outrage races for Capture The Moment, an exclusive partnership managed by Daniel and Claire.
