Thoughts on Outrage
Outrage runs in the 7.30 at Newcastle this evening (Thursday, January 21st). Jack Mitchell is aboard the veteran sprinter for the five furlong handicap as he bids to add to a strong course record. He is in good form having filled the runners up spot on his last two starts.
This looks a tight race, old rival El Hombre is another in decent form and there isn’t much between him and Outrage, their biggest danger could come from the lightly raced Mondammej who has only had two starts in his career but has shown plenty of promise. North Wind is dropping to a level he should be able to compete at and hasn’t had many runs on all weather surfaces.
Outrage is owned by the Capture the Moment, a syndicate managed by Daniel & Claire. He will be led up this evening by James Pulley and overseen by travelling manager Shaun Johnson who is his regular partner the gallops at home.
