Thoughts on Outrage
Outrage runs this evening at Newcastle in 6.00. Richard Kingscote is aboard the gelding for the five furlong sprint. The pair are drawn in stall 2. It was a bit touch and go if racing was going to go ahead, but Newcastle have the green light to continue despite the chilly temperatures! The track will ride slower than usual which isn’t ideal but he has run well on slow all weather surfaces in the past.

A small field of five, Outrage meets a few rivals once again. Be Proud finished three quarters of a length in front on his penultimate start, and looks to be most dangerous, that day North Wind and El Hombre were in behind. North Wind didn’t get the cleanest run that day and has run well on slower surfaces in the past so could get closer. Kind Review was well held by Outrage last October when they met, his best form is over six so the slower surface may play into his hands as the race becomes more of a test of stamina.
Outrage is by Exceed and Excel, out of the Cadeux Genereux mare, Ludynosa. He races for Capture The Moment and will be led up this evening by James Pulley, and overseen by Shaun Johnson.
