Thoughts on Outrage
Outrage runs this afternoon (26th February 2021) in the 4:35 at Lingfield. Richard Kingscote is back aboard the gelding for the five furlong sprint. They are drawn in stall 3. Conditions meant that things didn’t quite line up correctly for Outrage last time out with the chilly temperatures and the track at Newcastle riding slower than usual.

A competitive race with only five runners. Outrage meets a few old rivals again in Pop Dancer and Saaheq who were a neck and half a length behind him at Lingfield when he won their two starts back. Pop Dancer will remain competitive while Saaheq won impressively since under today’s jockey Sean Levey who replaced an inexperienced apprentice, for what was the horses second start in headgear, the same combination make him more of a danger again. Tin Hat drops back in distance after running well over six furlongs last time out, and has headgear added, he is unexposed over this trip and is a danger so albeit its a small field its an interesting race.
Outrage is by Exceed and Excel, out of the Cadeux Genereux mare, Ludynosa. He races for Capture The Moment. Outrage will be led up by James Pulley, and overseen by travelling manager and regular rider, Shaun Johnson.
