Thoughts on Outrage
Outrage runs this afternoon in the 2.00pm at Lingfield Park. David Egan is in the irons for the five furlong sprint. Outrage won over course and distance at Lingfield last time out and has won twice and been second on his three previous visits. There should be enough pace in to set him up for a rattling finish once again in this higher grade race.
A small but competitive field, Recon Mission has possibly been a bit out of form of late but did win here at the end of December and has been running in stronger races since so could be more effective today. Newyorkstateofmind has some good course form but this is quite a jump in class. Duke of Firenze and Just Glamorous both have some serious back class and although they aren’t at the level they once were are still capable of putting up solid performances.
Outrage is by Exceed and Excel, and out of Cadeaux Genereux mare, Ludynosa and he is owned by Capture The Moment, a syndicate run by Daniel and Claire. Today he will be led up by groom James Pulley.
