Thoughts on Outrage

Outrage runs this afternoon in the 4.30 at Ascot. Hollie Doyle is back aboard the nine year old gelding for the 5 furlong sprint. They are drawn in stall 11. He was a little disappointing on his first turf run of the season when finishing third at Windsor but the race didn’t pan out quite as hoped and he ended up a little wide. He will have to be at his best to be involved in this which looks slightly stronger and any rain that fall probably won’t do him many favours.

The race features a few performers who much like Outrage probably are slightly better on the all weather and Rewayaat brings some strong recent turf form to the table and is a deserving favourite. Rose Hip is a tough consistent filly and should be competitive here too. Although a real veteran Pettochside is one of the few who would relish the ground if the rain really got into it.

Diligent Lady, Firepower and Spring Bloom are now non-runners.

Outrage is by Exceed and Excel, out of the Cadeux Genereux mare, Ludynosa. He is owned by Capture The Moment, a syndicate personally managed by Daniel and Claire. He will be led up today by James Pulley and overseen by travelling manager, Shaun Johnson.
