Thoughts on Outrage
Outrage is the final runner for the team in 2021, in the 12.40 at Lingfield. Hopefully he can bring the curtain down on our best year to date in style. Thanks to the team who have worked so hard to deliver excellent results, our owners who are incredibly supportive in so many ways and also to all of you who are kind enough to follow us in one way or another. We wish you all the very best for 2022, we’ll be striving together to achieve even more!
Luke Morris is aboard for the five furlong sprint. Outrage has been a course and distance winner twice this year. He probably isn’t as consistent as he once was now well into the veteran stage of his career, but a repeat of his Newcastle run a couple of starts back would see him go very close. As ever Outrage needs a strong pace to run at and whilst he is never the best away, he does seem to break better from the five furlong start here at Lingfield than elsewhere.

The race looks open and a case could be made for several, the consistent Lihou probably sets the standard albeit its a while since he won. Top Breeze is a less straight forward character, but this is a slightly easier contest than he has generally been running in and if he is able to put it all together he is certainly a potent force in here. Rose Hip, Sir Rodneyredblood and Lucky Ava have all been running well of late but probably need to be at their absolute best to get involved here.
Outrage runs for Capture the Moment & Crowd Racing. He will be led up today by James Pulley who cares for him at home. We have some really exciting new horses to go to war with in 2022 and all the colts are now sold out but there are still some really interesting options amongst the fillies, all of whom qualify for valuable Great British Bonuses.
