Thoughts on Outrage
Outrage lines up at Wolverhampton tonight (Tuesday 12th April) in the 6.15. Richard Kingscote is back on board for the 5 furlong handicap. The handicapper has given Outrage a chance to slip down into a lower class of race. So we have decided to give him another run or two. He ran well last time in a much stronger contest at Newcastle. He has run well at Wolverhampton in the past without quite being able to get his head in front, but those were better races than this. The short run in doesn’t really play to his strengths.
Intervention comes here after winning on Saturday night so is clearly in good heart. His five wins have all come over further and he has the worst of the draw. Mick’s Spirit is another last time out winner and has a much better draw and rarely runs a bad race. This is a hike in class so would probably require a career best.
Outrage runs for owners Capture The Moment & Crowd Racing. He will be led up by James Pulley who looks after him at home and overseen by Shaun Johnson. We currently have shares in a racy filly by Time Test, who will make her racecourse debut in May. You can “Diskover” more about her below.
