Thoughts on Outrage
Outrage runs in the 9:15 tomorrow evening at Kempton (Tuesday 2nd of October). George Downing who has won on the horse before is back on board for the six furlong race. Outrage has acquitted himself well enough in defeat a few times this season, particularly in decent races, however he has also made a habit of being slow into stride, which even though he is a hold up performer is making things more difficult than they need to be. We’ve continued to work on that aspect of things and hope for a better break. As a hold up performer stall 11 is perhaps less of a hindrance than it may be normally for a horse at Kempton but still means some luck is required.
It looks an open type of race. Fivetwoeight is a last time out course and distance winner, but will have to continue to improve to take this. His biggest dangers are probably the three year olds, VJ Day may well continue his good run of recent form and the three year old has taken in some hot contests this summer whilst Dream Catching found the drop back to this trip get back to winning ways last time.
