Thoughts on Outrage at Ffos Las
Outrage heads deep into Wales this afternoon to run at Ffos Las in the 5.00. Dane O’Neil rides the gelding in the 6 furlong handicap. After a slow start to his season Outrage’s most recent effort over seven furlongs at Wolverhampton was more encouraging. Having won his maiden over five the drop back to six should prove no problem and the straight track should suit him better than the turns of Wolverhampton.
This is a slight drop in grade and up against mostly exposed runners looks a half decent opportunity. Summersault looks to be the one to beat, with Indian Affair another fairly consistent type. King of Spin wears a tongue tie for the first time and comes back off the sort of break that suggests there may be room for improvement especially as he is a three year old.
