Thoughts on Permanent

Permanent goes to Newcastle for the 5.50 today. Jordan Uys rides in the ten furlong apprentice handicap. Permanent ran better than it looks last time out when he was placed quite far back in what turned out to be quite a slowly run race and he couldn’t ever get involved. He has been well at home since and we hope the long journey pays off.

An open looking race with a few having a bit to prove. Spirit of the Vale has decent course and distance form in this grade but Good Time Ahead has even better form in a higher grade, if he can overcome some poorer efforts in a better turf races more recently.
