Thoughts on Pleasant Charm

Pleasant Charm heads to Southwell this evening for the 8.00 (Tuesday 8th of February. She lines up for her second start with Jack Mitchell taking the ride in the 6 furlong novice. Pleasant Charm was very green and ultimately disappointing over 7f on her debut. With renovations on the main work gallop here in Lambourn before her first run she didn’t have a normal prep. Pleasant Charm should be a lot more streetwise having done plenty of work in the last few weeks and put will hopefully that poor showing behind her.

Pleasant Charm struts her stuff on the way home from the gallops

Just three rivals face Pleasant Charm, Won Love and Ubahha have had plenty goes and don’t set a particularly high standard. Silver Dollar showed some ability first time out and if making progress for that experience could be the one to beat.

Pleasant Charm will race in the colours of her owner breeders, Gary & Lesley Middlebrook and will be led up by Michael Coles, who cares for her at home. Wishing the very best of luck to her connections tonight.
