Thoughts on Promotion
Promotion heads to Southwell today (Thursday, March 10th) where he lines up in the one mile maiden under Liam Keniry at 2.55. He made a much better of job of being a racehorse on his second start and should have learned a bit that day. His future probably lies in handicap company and he will qualify for a handicap mark today.

Mumcat looks the filly to beat here, she has a rating of 74 and if she returns at that level anything else will have to take a step forward on what they have shown to date. Crazy Maisie and Swilcan Bridge both took a step forward on their second starts and aren’t too far behind should Mumcat not reproduce her best form. Roamin in Gloamin has more experience than his rivals and is another likely to be in the mix.
Promotion will be led up by Tamsin Karn who cares for him at home and will be running for owners J Lukas, T Aspinall & Partners.
