Thoughts on Promotion

Promotion heads to Wolverhampton today (Saturday 26th March) where he will be making his Handicap debut. Nicole Currie will be on board for the mile and half a furlong race. Promotion has got the hang of things the more he has raced, he should be competitive at this level. He has the challenge of a wide draw to overcome.

Storm Asset is the form horse in the race. He has done all his winning over seven furlongs and needs to prove as effective at this distance. Nonsuch Lad ran better than the bare form reads on his handicap debut last time and certainly hinted at enough ability to win a race at this level. UAE Fifty hasn’t really done it yet on course but there are couple of runs where he was a bit unlucky the way the race panned out. Sun Rising is interesting returning from a break, as her best runs are as good as anything else here and she may have improved for the time off.

Promotion will be led up by Tamsin Karn who cares for him at home and will be running for owners J Lukas, T Aspinall & Partners.
