Thoughts on Questionable

Questionable heads to Haydock on Friday 24th May in the 2.05pm. Jim Crowley takes the ride on this filly in the 3 year old handicap over 7 furlongs and 212 yards.

Questionable has taken little steps forward with each start. She should be fine on the soft going as she handled it well at Salisbury last time. She seems honest and tries but does look harshly treated on what she actually achieved. The trip should be fine as she looked as if she might appreciate a mile on a couple of starts, although that was less the case on her most recent start.

Lady Ava makes her seasonal return having ended last year on a high, this is a similar contest and she should remain competitive. Hello Cotai seemed to relish the step up last time and ran well to be second in a similar race. Miners Gamble is another proven in conditions who can go well. Dandy Lichious won a claimer at Dundalk last time and has a first start for new connections.

Questionable runs for owner and breeder Peter Onslow and Mr & Mrs Middlebrook. She will be led up by Arla-Jade Cheshire who cares for this filly daily at home.
