Thoughts on Questionable
QUESTIONABLE is our first runner of what is set to be a very exciting week here at Sarsen Farm! This filly lines up in the 5.00pm at Carlisle on Monday 17th June. Tom Marquand takes the ride in the 6 furlong 195 yards fillies’ handicap.
Questionable went very close on her handicap debut last time, just getting caught on the line over a mile at Haydock. The stiff nature of even furlongs at Carlisle should suit. She seems to enjoy soft ground so has plenty in her favour.
An open looking race with Mostar Dreams a likely improver in the face of this stiffer test on handicap debut. Nick Bradley seems desperate to win this for his syndicate member launching a three pronged attack. The consistent Blufferonthebus looks the best chance if as effective at track dropped back in trip. Berrygate isn’t the most consistent but her best runs give her a chance.
Questionable runs for owner and breeder Peter Onslow and Mr & Mrs Middlebrook. She will be led up by Arla-Jade Cheshire who cares for this filly daily at home.
