Thoughts on Rampage

Rampage lines up at in the 8.00 at Wolverhampton on Monday. Jack Mitchell is riding in the seven furlong novice event. The gelding has run well enough on his first two starts to suggest he will be winning races in time. He switches to the all weather as he probably doesn’t want the ground too fast and therefore has to drop back a furlong as there were limited options over a mile.

Diamond Ranger sets a high standard and looks the obvious one to beat, previous winner Public Opinion would still need quite a big step forward to match him. Its likely Federal Street will progress from debut and be the one to challenge Diamond Ranger.

Rampage runs for owners David Blunt and Gary Middlebrook. He will be led up by James Pulley and overseen by Shaun Johnson.
