Thoughts on River Sprite
River Sprite runs this afternoon in the 4.15 at Southwell. Adam McNamara is in the irons for the one mile handicap and the pair are drawn wide in stall 14. River Sprite’s race has more depth to it than the last one she ran in when second over course and distance.
The filly finds the winner from that day Luscifer in opposition again. That’s the one they all have to beat. There are a group in here that have recent enough placed form over course and distance that are much of a muchness, Absolute Dream, Nine Elms, Geography Teacher and Maykir. Khaan falls into a similar bracket but returns from a lengthy time off.
River Sprite races for the Diskovery Partnership and Fiona Denniff, who also bred the filly and retains a share. The filly is by Swiss Spirit, out of the Forest Camp mare, Camp Riverside. She will be led up by Ilse Belien and overseen by Shaun Johnson.
Take a look at the Diskovery Partnership’s exciting filly for the 2021/2022 season. She is the very well bred (and qualifies for the lucrative Great British Bonus Scheme) and is sure to bring some very exciting days on the track!
