Thoughts On Secret Acquisition at Kempton

Secret Acquisition bids break her maiden at the third attempt this evening in the 6.10 at Kempton Park. David Egan will be aboard the filly as she attempts to go one place better than on her two previous starts. She is well drawn and although next season she will be better over a bit further she should be fine with the cut back to seven furlongs here.

This does look a good opening for Secret Acquisition as those with experience all have to step forward to beat her. Secret Smile may be better suited by today’s conditions but does not have a great draw, a problem debutante Uncle Swayze also faces. Dromara King is another debutante from a stable that can have first time out winners and is better drawn.

Secret Acquisition was races for Gary and Lesley Middlebrook. She was purchased at the Tattersalls Yearling Sales for 17,000 Guineas. We currently have shares for sale in similar prospects purchased at the recent yearling sales on our horses for sale page. She will be led up by Yard Manager Lauren Webb who has been her regularly rider of late at home.
