Thoughts on Seneca Chief
Seneca Chief runs at Wolverhampton today at 5.55pm, Luke Morris rides. Congratulations to Luke on winning the Arc yesterday, an incredible achievement. It’s well deserved for the years of incredibly hard work Luke has put in, he is the model professional.
Seneca Chief returns after a short break. He has done plenty of work and is at his usual racing weight. The gelding isn’t always the best out of the gates, which coupled with a wide draw makes this not the most ideal of tests. He has won at the track.

The race is a typically open sprint handicap. Cases could be made for a few, Pop Dancer has been pretty consistent without winning of late. Birkenhead last won in a visor and gets that back on after a some lesser efforts, mostly under an inexperienced apprentice. Cabezza de Llave has been progressive in class 6 company recently, if that continues he might be competitive here. Mytilda’s best recent form came without the hood. For the first time in a while the hood is off so keep a look out for her.
Seneca Chief runs in the colours of owners Gary & Lesley Middlebrook and will be led up by Ilse Belien.
