Thoughts on Seneca Chief

Seneca Chief heads to Kempton today where he lines up in the last race on the card at 8.30pm, Jack Mitchell will be on board.

Seneca Chief hasn’t had the most successful of seasons but showed he retains plenty of ability if he can get his act together last time out. Putting in much quicker sectionals through the middle part of the race after blowing the start badly. He is drawn well in stall one today, provided he makes a better break.

Pandemic Princess looks well capable of winning this if repeating her debut for her new yard eleven days ago at Chelmsford in a higher grade race. The Princes Poet comes here off the back of a course and distance win and warrants respect. Coolagh Magic took a big step up on recent form when winning over course and distance last time out in a similar race, a repeat would be required to be involved here.

Seneca Chief runs in the colours of owner and breeders Gary & Lesley Middlebrook and will be led up by Victoria Charnock Crawford.
